All-Ireland XC, Saturday 9th of March, Tymon Park, Tallaght

On the 9th of March, 6th year Ryan McCarthy competed in the 123.ie All-Ireland cross-country finals in Tymon Park in Tallaght, Dublin. Ryan, having qualified through the respective South-Munster XC and Munster XC qualifiers represented Munster and Kinsale Community School in the Senior Boys event in a 6km race across a heavy mud and wet track. 

With an outstanding 19:37 time in the event, Ryan successfully medalled from the 100 competitors, coming 6th overall. A great result for Ryan, who continues his exceptional contribution to school and club athletics.
