TY Students Gain Valuable Experience in the Workplace
Before the midterm break, our Transition Year students stepped out of the classroom and into the working world for two weeks of hands-on experience. Some students stayed close to home in Kinsale, while others ventured further afield, gaining insights into a wide range of industries.
Throughout their placements, students developed new skills, built confidence, and experienced the realities of working life. From customer service to technical skills, teamwork to time management, each student took away valuable lessons that will benefit them in the future.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the businesses and organisations that welcomed our students, providing them with this invaluable opportunity. Your support and guidance have played a crucial role in their learning and development.
Well done to all our TY students for embracing the challenge with enthusiasm – we look forward to seeing how you build on this experience in the months ahead!
