Rowing Blitz for KCS Rowing Team at University of Limerick

KCS Rowing Team took part in an indoor rowing blitz at the University of Limerick on Monday 6th March. The format for this event is a 2000m race on rowing machines which is completed between 5 team members.

As Kinsale Rowing Team continues to expand, we were able to enter 4 teams in this year's blitz -1st Year Girls, 2nd & 3rd Year Girls, 1st Year Boys, and 2nd & 3rd Year Boys. While none of the Kinsale Teams had podium finishes, all teams raced hard for their individual placings and were involved in some great battles against the neighbouring teams!

Training continues on Thursdays after school with students now making use of the three additional rowing machines the school has acquired in recent weeks.
